Does this work with Shopify's native gift cards?
Yes. We use Shopify's gift-card API. No separate ledger to manage.

What if the gift card is from a partner system?
If the partner has an API, we can connect (Rise.ai, Govalo, etc.). Contact support for partner additions.

Does validation reveal the balance?
We show whether the card has at least the order total. We don't surface the exact balance — that would be a privacy issue.
