You pay us monthly. We ship blocks. Either side can walk away any time, no penalty. If we break something, we refund and credit. Long version below.
01 The deal
Checkout Ninja is a Shopify Plus app that lets you customize your checkout with drag-and-drop blocks. You pay monthly (or annually), we maintain the app, ship new blocks, fix bugs, and respond to support questions. Either side can end the arrangement any time with no penalty.
02 What you get
Access to every block in the library tier you subscribed to (Advanced or Deluxe). All pre-built templates. Email support — Deluxe includes priority chat support and a 30-min onboarding session. Continuous updates as we ship new blocks. SLA: 48-hour response on Advanced, 12-hour on Deluxe.
03 What we need from you
An active Shopify Plus store. Permission to install the app and access the checkout configuration. Payment via Shopify's billing (we never see your card details directly). Truthful use — don't try to install blocks that violate Shopify's TOS, your jurisdiction's laws, or basic ecommerce ethics.
04 Billing & refunds
Shopify handles all billing. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. The 3-day free trial doesn't charge anything. After the trial, monthly billing starts on day 4. Annual plans bill in advance and save 17%. Refunds: prorated for the unused portion if you cancel mid-period. Email sabeeh@nexappstudio.com for refund requests.
05 Data ownership & uptime
Your blocks, configurations, copy, and data belong to you. If you cancel, we retain your configuration for 90 days in case you reinstall, then delete it. Uptime: we target 99.9% (Checkout Extensibility runtime is hosted by Shopify, so our practical uptime tracks theirs). If we drop below 99% in a calendar month, you get the month free, no questions asked.
06 Intellectual property
We own the Checkout Ninja code, brand, and block designs. You own your configuration of them. Custom blocks we build on request for Deluxe merchants: you get a perpetual license to use them; we retain the right to offer similar blocks to other merchants unless we've explicitly agreed exclusivity in writing.
07 Liability
If our blocks cause a measurable problem (broken checkout, data loss, downtime), we'll refund the affected period and credit you for any direct damage. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost sales due to a bug, your store's broader uptime issues, your customer's actions). Standard SaaS liability terms — see the long form below.
08 Changes to these terms
We'll notify you by email at least 30 days before any material change. You can cancel during the notice period if the change doesn't work for you. Minor edits are made silently. Last updated: May 28, 2026.
