The short version.
We never touch your customers' PII or payment data — Shopify handles that, we just render UI on top. We don't sell data, don't share with ad platforms, don't track you across sites. Long version below.
01 What this policy covers
This policy applies to data Checkout Ninja collects, processes, or stores in connection with our Shopify Plus app and this website. It does not cover data Shopify holds about your store (covered by Shopify's privacy policy) or data your customers leave on your store (covered by your own privacy policy).
02 What we process
When you install Checkout Ninja, Shopify grants us access to: your store's checkout configuration (to render blocks), order metadata (for ROI reporting), and customer tags (for Conditional Visibility rules). We do not read PII — customer names, emails, addresses, and payment details remain scoped to Shopify's checkout context and never leave Shopify's infrastructure.
03 What we never touch
Credit cards. Bank details. Customer passwords. Saved payment methods. Shopify Files (uploaded assets). Customer personally identifiable information. Customer order history beyond aggregate counts. Any data you didn't explicitly approve when installing.
04 Third-party sub-processors
We use: Shopify (hosts our app + handles all customer-facing data), Cloudflare (CDN + DDoS protection for this website), Postmark (transactional email — install confirmations, support replies), Plausible (privacy-respecting site analytics — no cookies, no PII). No data is shared with advertising platforms, no retargeting pixels, no Facebook/Google tracking.
05 Your rights
Under GDPR/CCPA/equivalent: you can request a copy of any data we hold about you, request deletion, request correction. Email sabeeh@nexappstudio.com. We respond within 30 days. If you uninstall our app, your configuration is retained for 90 days in case you reinstall, then deleted automatically.
06 Changes to this policy
We'll notify you by email at least 30 days before any material change. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) are made silently and noted at the bottom of this page. Last updated: May 28, 2026.
