The Message block has always been able to put a coloured banner at checkout, but it stops at a line of text and a tone. Notice Banner picks up where it leaves off: a proper heading, a description underneath, and up to two buttons that can send a shopper to a tracking page or a help doc instead of leaving them to go hunting. It's the block for the week the carrier is late, the promo is running, or the payment keeps failing.

Carrier delay, promo, free shipping, out of stock, payment issue, store notice. Each pre-fills a tone and the copy, which you then edit.
Copy that reads the cart
Banner text renders through live variables — the customer, their cart total, cart lines, delivery address, applied gift cards, or the current date and time.
Two buttons, properly wired
Each button needs text and a full https:// URL. Anything shorter is dropped rather than rendered as a dead link.
