Plans and features
In short
Checkout Ninja has two plans: Advanced ($49/month) and Deluxe ($99/month), each with a 3-day free trial. Advanced includes every block except the four upsell blocks, Shipping Protection and Conditional Checkbox. Deluxe adds those blocks and checkout rules. Branding also needs Shopify Plus, whatever your plan.

Each row is one plan feature. If your plan doesn’t include it, the app locks what’s listed.

When a block type is locked, you can still pick it from Choose block. The edit modal then shows a Premium Feature card with a PRO badge instead of the settings, and an Upgrade to Unlock button.
Block types not listed here have no plan gate. They’re included in both Advanced and Deluxe.

A locked option can still be selected. Its fields then appear behind the same Premium Feature card.
Free trial
- Checkout Ninja has no free plan. Advanced and Deluxe both come with a 3-day free trial.
- The plan pop-up shows the days you have left: “Billing starts only after a N day free trial.”
- A subscription that is still in its trial counts as an active plan. That completes Choose a plan in the Home setup guide.
When the trial has ended
- The plan pop-up shows Your trial has expired. with an Upgrade Now badge, instead of the days left.
- Pick a plan from the plan cards and click Subscribe. Shopify asks you to approve the charge.

The plan pop-up always names the cheapest plan that includes the feature you opened: “Subscribe to the [plan] or higher to access it.” It’s the quickest way to check which plan you need.

Is there a free plan? +
No. Advanced ($49/month) and Deluxe ($99/month) are both paid, and each starts with a 3-day free trial. The plan pop-up shows how many trial days you have left: 'Billing starts only after a N day free trial.'
How do I see which plan includes a feature? +
Open the locked feature. The Upgrade The Plan pop-up names the lowest plan that includes it: 'Subscribe to the [plan] or higher to access it.' You can also compare every plan under Billing.
What happens when my trial ends? +
The plan pop-up changes to 'Your trial has expired.' with an Upgrade Now badge. Subscribe to a plan from the plan cards to keep using locked features.
Does a higher Checkout Ninja plan unlock Branding on a non-Plus store? +
No. Branding is only available on Shopify Plus and development stores. On other stores the Branding menu item doesn't appear, whatever your Checkout Ninja plan.
